How to get there:
By car:
From middle Belgium, you take the E 40 and later on you follow E314, direction Hasselt. Then you pass through Aken, Keulen, Frankfurt, Wurzburg, Nurnberg, Regensburg, Passau, Linz, Sankt Polten, Wien, Bratislava, Trnava, Nitra, en Nova Bana.
From the east of the Netherlands, you can take the following route: Arnhem, Oberhausen, Keulen and then you take the route as mentioned above.
When you are about to hit Vienna, keep on following the airport sign or Budapest (Hungary). Slovakia is not indicated. Once you passes through Vienna, you can follow SK (Slowakije), not SLO (Slovenia).
Attention! The police tends to control vehicles on speed and also on the equipment you have in your car. You must have a reflexive safety vest in your car. Do not forget to stick the toll ticket on your window. Also in Slovakia, you should have a highway sticker from the moment you enter Slovakia and drive on the highway, so best way is to buy one right at the border (or even in Austria).
There are two exits from the highway with Nova Bana mentioned on the traffic signs. When you see the first, just leave it behind. The second time, you can take the exit (at thet moment you see at your left side a high chimney). You follow the sign Nova Bana, cross two bridges and keep going straight on (although the mainroad turns to the left). You will find at your right side a steep forestslope. When arriving at the centre of the village (at your left, you see the LIDL) you keep on going straight on. Arriving almost at the top of the slope and driving to the centre, when you just pass the monument, you turn to the right, and follow the road for a couple of 4 km, first rather straight on, than zigzag, till you will observe at your left side a sign with camping LOSOS on it. In the dark, they can be seen very well. During the day, you should have a good look and focus on it. You follow this sign now, and you keep on taking the right road (two times you arrive at an Y form crossroad) till you arrive at the top, with a small chapel on your right side. It goes steep down and you take the first small road on your right, goes over the bridge, and turn directly to the left again (at your right side, you will see the parking of LOSOS), steep slope up again. Another 350 meters, and you will find our premisses at your left side. Park the car, and done. .
By bus or by train:
You can take the train or bus from the train- or busstation in Bratislava. For a very fair price, you arrive right at the train- or busstation in Nova Bana which are situated at the same location. You don t even have to change during your trip. The train/bus station is situated 1 km away from the centre of Nova Baňa. There is a possibility to get a taxi, but it has to be arranged by phone. We offer also a possibility to collect you at the station by some local friends. They will drive you to the farm for a small fee.
By plane:
You can come straight to Slovakia by plane. Cheap fly tickets can be obtained through Ryanair, from Charleroi to Bratislava. From the airport in Bratislava, you can take a taxi to the bus or trainstation in Bratislava. Another possibility is to fly from Brussels to Schwechat, Vienna, and take the train right from the airport to Bratislava, and then continue with another train to Nova Baňa.
